About This Event

Join us for the inaugural Illawarra Design Excellence Symposium, exploring how great design creates great places and thriving urban environments.

The University of Wollongong Innovation Campus, in partnership with the Illawarra Property Council, invite you to share strategies and bold ideas that innovate and articulate principles of great design in the built form.

The key theme, 'Enrich - People, place & Community', explores how lives are enriched with thoughtfully designed homes, buildings, environments and public spaces that capitalise community assets, maximise sustainability, embrace technologies and promote health, happiness and wellbeing.

What are the key elements of award-winning design? What is successful place creation? How do excellent designs enrich lives? Experience renowned keynote speakers, industry presenters, best practice examples, panel discussions and social networking opportunities, as we answer all of this and more!
